If you're recovering from surgery or dealing with a temporary injury, a wheelchair can make a big difference in how much you're able to get around — but buying one for a few weeks of use doesn't make a lot of sense. That's why we offer short-term wheelchair rentals right here in St. George.

We keep Medline standard wheelchairs in stock in two seat sizes so we can fit different body types. You can have one delivered to your home for a $25 delivery fee, or swing by our office and pick it up yourself. Either way, we'll make sure you know how to adjust it before you leave.

Bundle deal: If you need a wheelchair and crutches during the same recovery — common after a hip or knee surgery — we can rent you both together and save you $69. The wheelchair comes back to us at the end of your rental; the crutches are yours to keep.

The Wheelchairs We Rent

We use Medline standard wheelchairs — a well-known name in medical equipment that you'll recognize from hospitals and rehab facilities. They're sturdy, easy to use, and comfortable for most people going through a short-term recovery.

We stock two seat widths:

If you just had surgery and can't easily get out, or you simply don't want to deal with loading a wheelchair into your car, we can deliver it directly to your home. We serve St. George and the surrounding communities — including Washington City, Hurricane, Santa Clara, Ivins, and La Vereda. We also deliver to Cedar City and the Mesquite, NV area.

The $25 delivery fee covers both drop-off and pickup at the end of your rental, so there's no additional charge when you're done.

Pick It Up at Our Office — Free

If you're able to get around and want to save the delivery fee, you're welcome to stop by our office and pick the chair up yourself. We're located at 825 Industrial Rd, St. George, UT 84770. Call ahead so we can have the right size ready for you.

Who Typically Rents a Wheelchair From Us

Most of our wheelchair rental customers fall into one of a few situations:

Post-surgery recovery — hip replacement, knee replacement, and foot or ankle surgeries often leave people unable to walk any distance for several weeks. A wheelchair makes it possible to get around the house, attend appointments, and leave the house without exhausting yourself on crutches.
Temporary injury — a bad sprain, fracture, or stress injury that doesn't require surgery but takes weight-bearing off the table for a few weeks.
Visiting family — if a family member is coming to stay with you and they have limited mobility, a short-term rental is a lot more practical than buying a chair they'll only use once.
Bridge rental — waiting on insurance to approve a permanent chair, or waiting for a custom chair to arrive. A rental keeps you mobile in the meantime.

What wheelchair sizes do you have available?

We stock Medline standard wheelchairs in 18-inch and 20-inch seat widths. The 18-inch is the right fit for most adults. The 20-inch works better for people with a larger frame or wider hips. If you're not sure which to get, call us at (877) 753-5556 and we can help you figure it out.

How does delivery work?

We charge a flat $25 delivery fee, which covers both drop-off at the start of your rental and pickup when you're done. We'll coordinate a delivery time that works for you. The $25 is the same regardless of how long you rent.

Can I pick up the wheelchair instead of having it delivered?

Yes — pickup is free. Just call ahead so we can have the right chair ready for you. We're located at 825 Industrial Rd, St. George, UT 84770.

What if I need it longer than I expected?

Not a problem. Just let us know before your rental period ends and we'll extend it. We'll prorate additional time at the same weekly or monthly rate — no penalty for going longer than planned.

Do you deliver to Cedar City or Mesquite?

Yes, we deliver to Cedar City and the surrounding area, and to Mesquite, NV and nearby communities. If you're outside the St. George metro area, call us first and we'll confirm whether we can reach you.

Can I rent a wheelchair and crutches at the same time?

Yes — and we have a bundle deal for exactly that. A lot of people recovering from hip or knee surgery end up needing both for different situations. The weekly bundle is $105 (wheelchair + crutches, saving you $69 off the individual prices), and the monthly bundle is $170. The wheelchair is a rental that comes back to us; the crutches are yours to keep.

What if the chair gets damaged during my rental?

Normal wear is expected and covered. If there's significant damage beyond normal use, give us a call and we'll discuss it — we're reasonable people. We've been doing this long enough that we don't expect a chair to come back looking brand new.
