In Motion Freedom Crutch (Short) | Recommended for Heights from 4'11" - 5'9"
  • The max height range is between 5’8" and 5’9". These crutches are sold as a pair.
  • Due to the ergonomic slope of the handle and length of the handle screw, the handles can be adjusted to fit any of the top 5 holes on the main crutch post. The first 5 holes are offset to allow for the screw to sink deeper into the sloped handle providing a snug handle that will not wobble.
  • Depending on your arm length, customers have told us the handles may not go down far enough for you if you are between 5’8" and 5’9" (at the top range of the crutch). We are working on a newer model that will allow for more handle positions and will work for people up to 6’6” and will update this description when the new model is available.
  • The height range is a guide. Everyone has different arm, torso, and leg lengths and some people want the crutches to be up into their underarms and some want the top of the crutches to rest an inch or two below their armpit. Where the crutches hit under your arms depends on your individual preference.
  • These crutches are the same ergonomic, sturdy design as the In Motion with a few less features. They have the same ergonomic shaped handles specific for the right and left hands, however, they have a rigid lower post (no spring assist) and they do not fold in half for travel.
  • The ergonomic design of the handles support a more natural wrist position. (Round, ergonomically down sloped handles can be purchased separately from our website to replace right/left specific handles if desired)
  • Our articulating tips provide great overall stability and ability to walk on most surfaces. (indoor/outdoor, hardwood floors, carpet, grass, gravel, etc.)
