Hunter - "Your crutches were stolen on Christmas Eve?"
"Your crutches were stolen on Christmas Eve?"
That was part of our response to a recent conversation with a customer. Hunter suffers from hEDS and had left the crutches in the car while volunteering on Christmas Eve. The car was later recovered but the crutches were missing!
After hearing the story, we decided to donate a new pair to replace the stolen crutches. Hunter recently began using the in-Motion Forearm crutches and sent us the feedback below regarding the choice to choose them over other brands.
"I was recently diagnosed with Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos syndrome (hEDS), a condition which affects the mobility of my joints and causes both fatigue and considerable joint pain that can change (sometimes rapidly) in intensity over the course of a day. After a recent trip involving a lot of walking left me with considerable fatigue and pain that took more than a week to recover from, I finally decided to invest in forearm crutches to help me not only with my day to day, but more importantly to help with longer outings. I did a considerable amount of research before deciding upon Millennial Medical's forearm crutches, because not only did they offer a number of great features, but they also did so at an affordable cost, which as a young adult in this economy is incredibly important! As I continue to learn more about my condition and the ways that it affects my life, I am incredibly grateful to have these crutches as a tool to help me continue to do the things I want to do. I love going on nature walks, exploring museums, and browsing antique and craft stores with friends and family, and these crutches will let me do those things without having to pay for it later with an increase in pain or fatigue."Be Kind. Be generous. Always pay it forward. Support for Life's Adventures
